Small class sizes

Maximum of 6 students per class

Tons of one on one instruction

Classes at the Acanthus Workshop are designed to develop fine craftsmanship in furniture making for the beginner and experienced woodworker. With a combination of small classes and instruction led by master furniture makers, the Acanthus Workshop offers the optimal learning experience for our students using time honored traditional methods.

Each class is led by a highly experienced furniture maker, a master of their craft. A maximum of 6 students per class gives everyone ample one-on-one time with instructors in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Acanthus Workshop offers a variety of classes. Our Fundamentals Classes provide beginners with essential hand and power tool instruction. Intermediate and Masters Classes are project or skill driven classes to further develop your skills, as well as introduce new techniques, for furniture construction.

We offer a line of instructional DVDs and, coming in 2012, video on demand classes.
