William and Mary Chest of Drawers

This chest was adapted from two period chests. Dimensionally, most Pennsylvania chests of this period are very large. This chest, however, is smaller and almost Queen Anne in proportion. Both original chests were very early Pennsylvania chests. One had great architecture and design elements and the other had fabulous proportions. We think they combine rather well.

Smaller size accentuates the architecture of this piece
