Our woodworking school is unlike anything you've experienced before. We're driven to insure your woodworking success! If you've been woodworking for years and want to expand your abilities, or if you've just always thought that you might enjoy working with wood, now is the time to take advantage of this incredible opportunity. Our woodworking classes are small (maximum of 6 students, currently the average class is 3 or 4 students) so each student has plenty of personal interaction with the class mentor. In addition to Charles Bender, we occasionally have other guest mentors, all of which are selected by Charles Bender personally for their exceptional skills and knowledge. Our classes are lively and filled with fun, achievable projects. Our shop opens early and stays open late so that you have the opportunity to get the personal attention you need. That personal service doesn't end when the class is over. All our alumni are welcome to drop in and observe a class they've already taken (in case they need a bit of a refresher). We have an alumni forum area to help you answer questions or catch up with your classmates. Every student is welcome to call or email their mentor for that bit of advice or help. We're here to help you be the best craftsman you can be.
Since you're here (at our website), you've already taken that first step to become the woodworker you've always wanted to be. Please feel free to browse the website and contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you in the shop!
