Whether you are a beginner or seasoned woodworker you can perfect your dovetailing skills in this class. This two day instruction can help improve your speed and accuracy in laying out and cutting a variety of dovetails.
Topics of instruction:
-Through, half blind/semi-concealed dovetails
-Layout tips
-Backsawing practice - learn to "saw to the line"
-Learn to make the most of your chisels use
-Use of powertools to aid in waste removal
Materials are included in this class.
This class is being held on Friday April 2nd and Saturday April 3rd, 2010.
The shop opens at 8 am. Class begins at 9 am. A coldcut lunch and soft drinks are provided. Class ends at 4:30 pm. The shop remains open until 6 pm. Class size is limited to 6 students.
